In 1990 I purchased my first real 35mm camera. It was a Minolta Freedom 50. A 35mm was a requirement to take a photo class in my High School and being a broke kid with a very low paying afternoon job, the Freedom 50 was all I could afford. I shot tons of BMX and creative projects with it. Even made special filters for it In the mid 80's my paternal grandmother let me borrow a camera for a school trip in PR. It was a 110mm film camera with no coverings ( can you say light leaks ) never saw what I photographed sadly. It wasn't till 1990 that I had my first real camera, a Minolta Freedom 50.
