I’ve been watching the JK/JM IG angst with interest. People are really losing their SH*T over it! Why isn’t Jimin posting? Why didn’t JK comment on the few posts he has done? Why are Jk and V interacting in IG? What does it all mean!? Thankfully, you’ve made a couple of really Important points on this. 1. These are business accounts. They were all activated at the same time and were created (as I believe was mentioned) to give the artists a chance to basically sell their brand, to let fans get to see some things about them individually. They do not have to share ultra personal stuff, and most likely won’t. 2. If JK &JM are together all of the time, why WOULD they need to comment on each other’s posts? They most likely just share them with each other in real time. Kinda like when JM told everyone to email him their submissions for BE and JK said “I can just tell you mine, right?” Why? Because they are always together, so emailing would have been unnecessary and redundant.
People also say that something must be wrong because JK & JM used to post selcas and interact more on social media than they do right now. Well, they are older and have probably learned the hard way to be selective in what they share. Still, we’ve recently had a LOT of very nice LIVE Jikook moments (concert moments, a couple of great VLives, press, behind the scenes, Etc.…). These are unscripted, spontaneous moments that show the real deal that is Jikook. On the flip side of that, Social Media posts are basically scripted. The poster thinks about what they want to share, what the reaction will most likely be, etc. With Jimin getting so much crap on Social Media from crazy antis (TKK)why would he want to put himself out there? He’s doing the bare minimum and that’s it. He’s even said he’s “not on the internet much”, meaning social media I assume. It’s a mentally dangerous place to be for him, so he’s smart to keep it an arms length. Bottom line, when we’ve seen Jk & JM together for anything recently, all indications are that they are still together and very happy. Nothing has happened to say otherwise. Why is everyone so willing to go down that road with no evidence to support it? Yes, JK and V have had interactions through IG, but nothing about it has been “romantic”. I mean, Jk even used that Mike Tyson quote about everything being good until someone gets punched in the mouth when talking about V wanting to spar. That’s BRO talk, not BF talk. Can you imagine him talking to Jimin that way? Good grief, the man wouldn’t even shoot fake camera bullets at him! JK and V are friends/bros obviously, and we should all be glad to see it.
Anyway…sorry this is sort of a rant, but I just had to speak up. Thanks for always being so reasonable and for taking the time to answer everyone, even those who must rub you the wrong way. You are amazing! (Side note: I’ve enjoyed watching a lot of your posts recently to tide myself over while I wait for everyone to come back from their break. Watching all of the Jikook content together like that makes their relationship overwhelmingly obvious. They are just lovely, aren’t they?)
