The location where the party was supposed to be held effectively blinded Jiyong to who the sender even was and quickly he was persuaded to get an outfit ready and join the gathering. He shoved his concerns aside quite immediately, too. There was no purpose in worrying about what could happen and what the anonymous host had in store for Halloween. Hectolitres of alcohol would be guaranteed, so with that at hand, almost anything could be endurable. Previous happenings must’ve toughened up his tolerance for many unexpected occurrences.
Fronting onto his old schoolmates possibly would be the less pleasant part, he presumed. Revisiting those Cheongnam memories wasn’t ever his favourite thing to do. So far it was going smoothly, though. A small talk here, a small talk there. With wine already in his system all of them seemed oddly more interesting and bearable. Finally, after getting through several meaningless chatters, he returned to his seat and one of the sauntering waiters refilled his glass. Gleefully taking a sip of the maroon liquid, his gaze wandered off to the side when he noticed an approaching figure with the corner of his eye.
“Minseok, it’s been a while since I last saw you in flesh,” he sent the older man a blithe smile and briskly patted the spare chair standing next to his. This while felt more like ages and he was so delighted that they would get to catch up and spend some time together, in the company of exquisite wines and music, which actually left a great deal to be desired.
