normally i would think that but i rly think it isn’t. i mean considering what Suho has been through and then when the MC mentions the album sales (physical ones) (cause you know how each member has their own lil album thing) and he took a stab at Suho’s popularity saying “Then what happens to hyungs like Suho?” and then proceeded to say he’s ONLY popular amongst parents when Suho said he was popular among the parent generation.

hello~ i apologize if this sounds ignorant of me, but how can k-idols be "whitewashed" if it's for POC?? i get that asians /are/ POC, but i'm assuming the POC in context are those who have darker skin, and are therefore subject to whitewashing, but k-idols are already so pale??? i get that this word gets used around kai or yuri or rapmon or others, but to some random idol, say, irene from rv. she's naturally pale, so in what context would she be "whitewashed"

Asians are POC and if they look paler than they already are it’s still considered wrong! The thing is, they don’t need to look #FFFFFF white and some people insist on doing that. That’s why we’ve told everyone on our blog to stop doing these edits and we definitely stopped reblogging posts like that as well. As stated before, we also have POC working on this blog.

It's always gonna be those rediculous kpop fans that say "THIS ROOKIE GROUP IS COPYING [insert name here]!!" Not just for 2ne1 fans but for almost any fandom, especially for older groups. But i dont think anyone's saying 2ne1 invented eveything.

I'm saying some people act like that and have acted like that since I've been a kpop fan (years) and before that. There's someone who will argue this about any group, but I've seen it way more towards any other girl group that does something that some blackjacks find even remotely similar to 2ne1. And if you disagree, that's fine tbh. It's just my opinion, not the end of the world.
