Digital Glitch: Set-up and Setting Guide for Protect the Child.

Digital Glitch has an update! I've uploaded a pdf with a setting reference section, as well as a step-by-step guide for getting your first session up and running.

This is a setting for my Forged-in-the-Dark game of monster babysitters, Protect the Child, and requires the base game to play. Right now, both Digital Glitch and Protect the Child are free to download!

This is the first in a series of new roll-outs, including a new-and-improved Trust mechanic, some updated playbooks, and some more beginner-friendly guides that will hopefully make the game more accessible to new GMs.

I'm also just really proud of what I'm learning to do with Affinity Publisher. I'm really liking how this looks!

The Protect the Child playtests are hitting it off with a bang! We've had at least one playtest in each of the quick-start settings and the players are picking up on the rules very quickly.

Tonight it was Lily's Angels and we had a vampire show up to the crisis late with star bucks, a teenager whose anxiety attacks show up in the form of a rhinoceros, and a Frankenstein's monster who carries extra body parts around... you know, just to have.

Move Month - Finale

Just under the wire for Make A Move Month, I decided to spotlight the special move attached to the Strangeling playbook. The Strangeling has two aspects that draw attention to them. Feathers & Feelers gives the Strangeling an edge in a dangerous situation, but at the potential cost of scaring a friend. Meanwhile, the Strangeling has a Pattern that keeps them calm while drawing attention. If they draw too much attention, they are forced to use Feathers & Feelers.
