4 NEW CAMP CAMP EPISODES COMING OUT 1st of MARCH, 2024.

Out of nowhere an hour ago, RT dropped this live-action skit re-enacting the show’s theme song with the text announcement of 4 whole new episodes.

…That’s a tad bit unexpected. And also smaller than I’m used to!

It appears to me that Camp Camp’s return might be in a drastically reduced form — as in, a lot less episodes than last time. Just like RWBY Chibi when they brought it back for single segments in Neon Konbini, or RT’s Sims 2 machinima series The Strangerhood where they made 4 episodes as a indiegogo stretch goal for their movie Lazer Team.

But perhaps new episodes of season 5 will release in batches? Like, 4 more new episodes in July, and then October? Or maybe that’s just wishful thinking? The great Camp Camp drought has really messed me up.

The only way to watch Camp Camp is exclusively on roosterteeth.com — they’ve privated it all on YouTube.

Well, that was slightly hyperbole — of course they would keep the first episode, and they also still have the holiday specials up!

Rooster Teeth is pushing their website and their RT FIRST subscription model even harder this year, and have gutted their YouTube channels of basically all of Camp Camp, along with Red vs Blue, I assume in an effort to redirect traffic to their FUNCTIONAL website.

Man this album is just good. I shouldn’t have treated 5SOS5 as nothing more than an “impulse buy” upon my first listen, because it would take more to find out that there are lots of gems to take away from the album. My favourites include “Caramel”, “You Don’t Go To Parties” and “Red Line”.

In favour for a Palestine ceasefire

At Gaza, their Ministry of Education called for an official end of their 2023/24 academic year due to the martyrdom of all of its students. A disgusting amount of children lost in the name of Israel’s “self-defense”. Their collective loss shall never be in vain.

Much alike those students, 2 mil+ men, women and children are unfairly caught in a terrifying humanitarian crisis. Displaced. Killed. Lost.

Israel shows no sign of stopping. They haven’t stopped for 70+ years.

The collateral damage inflicted onto Palestine won’t manifest in just a singular form. It’s the houses, residential buildings, hospitals, schools, churches, public spaces, among much more unrelentingly destroyed and will require years of rebuilding. And it’s the people that do not deserve a fragment of this suffering. Children, adolescents, adults, elders losing their families and those closest to them. Hopes and dreams, shattered. Their communication, severed. Their worldview, skewed.

The memories of scorching white phosphorus and what’s equivalent to 1/4 of a nuclear bomb striking their home. Nights disturbed by constant explosions. Israel twisting the situation to those around the world while Palestinians stagger with cut phone services.

Solitary. Silenced.

But not in vain. Let’s remember the faces for their accomplishments and efforts in and leading up to the crisis. Make them more than just a statistic. The camaraderie each of them had brought to one another deserves to be acknowledged. For the welfare of our brothers and sisters at Gaza, at Palestine. For their past they leave behind and the future they became martyrs to maintain. For their cut voices, let’s bring one of larger amplitude for all to hear.

Pray for them and bring about a better, brighter future for Palestine. Mourn the dead. Fight like hell for survival of the living.

On this day 43 years ago at June 22nd, Monty Oum was born. Since then he would be renowned for his fighting animations Haloid and Dead Fantasy, which would attract the attention of Rooster Teeth. He was assigned leading animator for Red vs Blue, and before he left this world back in 2015, he gave us another — the world of Remnant in a little show called RWBY.

He has left behind such an immense impact on lots of lives, including mine.

A CHAOTIC ANNOUNCEMENT // WE ARE THE CHAOS THEATER!

GOOD MORNING AND HELLO TO ALL. I write this spiel on behalf of THE CHAOS THEATER. We emerge as a cast of voice actors and actresses banding together to breathe new light to the Scott Pilgrim series of comics. You may not know us, but you definitely will.

Attached is a reel flaunting the talented cast of The Chaos Theater, and the characters appearing for our dub of Volume 1. It's led by our good friend @subspacestarz and his work is nothing short of impeccable!

Our voice cast, listed in the video description, also have our own respective social media pages so you know where else to support us!

WHAT TO EXPECT

I haven't been more excited to talk about anything, so I'll let you all in some inside goss of our progress. As mentioned before, we are currently working on dubbing Volume 1 -- Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life. Everyone's lines are, I assume, about 90% finished. Editing-wise, it's naturally taking us long. Time-consuming and strenuous it is.

To bowl you over as we stagger through editing Volume 1 together, we also plan to dub over scenes from Scott Pilgrim Takes Off! As I type this together, I've already finished dubbing over Matthew Patel's lines in his duel with Scott in episode 1, and so has Roxxie and Louie -- hopefully they don't mind the namedrop... You can probably expect that to be the second or third video to drop on THE CHAOS THEATER's YouTube channel, so you'd better subscribe if you find us cool! We're also on that hellsite, Twitter, in case we need to relay information about our dubs. Follow that too, please!

SCOTT PILGRIM TAKES OFF IS THE SHOW OF ALL TIME

Holy shiz. Scott Pilgrim Takes Off was the best thing ever. Kept getting better with every episode (the documentary one in episode 5 was my fave). It also just went ABOVE AND BEYOND with its cast, particularly Scott Pilgrim. Words lose me. Go watch it right now.

SPOILERS AHEAD…

absolutely crazy. the amount of times me and my brother jokingly predicted “oh, Scott actually made himself disappear!” or “what if Future Scott was the one that prevented Scott and Ramona from kissing?” actually becoming true is just jaw-dropping. Just as crazy was Young Neil basically writing all of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (except he didn’t — it was actually a future Ramona Flowers). The style of this show is just MASTERFUL and there’s lots of respectable nods to stuff like David Cronenburg and the virtual boy. And hey you know the Cornetto Trilogy? How each of those films include Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as co-stars? They return for SPTO as the Torontowood security crew. THEY BOTH EAT CORNETTOS AT THE END.. WHAT IS THIS SHOW. I’ll tell you what, it is sublime.

For it is quite the miracle that 18 years you've walked the earth, and we have the immeasurable luck of spending a fair amount of it together; for you've introduced me to great things and experiences; for you've been supportive of my work, as I do to yours; for we have the heart to keep ourselves in check, whenever we need it; for we've shared countless laughs that last forever and burdens that we eventually overcome; for you've shown me the importance of Sylvia Trichotomy and calico cats and everything else in-between. For a relationship grafted out of a place of confusion, sloth, drama, struggle and distrust, it's amazing we have made it this far. Never forget of those who love and care about you most. Protect, nurture and look out for yourself, and keep moving forward with your ideas. Enjoy your birthday. Remember how weezy you are.
