Okay, so this semester has been really rough on me and I have a million things to cover between now and finals. I've been wanting to do this study motivator by @sub-at-omic-studies for a while now so I'm going to be doing some studyblr stuff for the next two weeks to finish out my semester strong (as best i can). I'll just be doing the first half and I'll see if I want to keep going for personal reasons after this.

Day 1: What subjects are you studying?

I'm a double major in physics and math. Right now I'm taking Thermal Physics, Nuclear Physics Lab, PDE's and Fourier Analysis, and Complex Analysis

TODO Today:

- Work on my take home test for CA

- Write 1000 words for my research essay

- Send my 3 emails I've been putting off

14 Day Finals Study Challenge! 3/14

so i just woke up from pulling an all nighter for a presentation i did this morning. luckily i got full credit! unfortunately the grind is not over because i have to do a lab analysis tonight that i present tomorrow too

Day 3: Where/When do you get most of your work done?

usually it's at the university library in between my classes. (other times it's intermittently though the middle of the night)

- Final lab analysis report for defense tomorrow

Day 2 of my study challenge ヽ(・∀・)ﾉ

day 1 was overwhelming and my test came out worse than i wanted but complex analysis is HARD for me so i'll take what i can get

What inspired you to take the subject(s) you're studying?

when i was a kid, it started out that i wanted to know more about the particles smaller than the proton which led me to the standard model and all of particle physics. as i continue my education i continue to fall in love with all the interesting mathematics that we can apply to the real world. at this limit i ended up finding out i love math for maths sake too! i still want to go into particle physics but it's much more tangible now that's ive actually done some research internships

TODO today:

- finish my research essay

- write my presentation that goes with the essay
