Idk if this an actual theory but—

instead of pregnant, Noriko might be dead because of Infection that Godzilla cause in the end of the movie. Because humans can have radiation sickness, then Noriko might live for not so long due to radiation sickness and left Koichi alone with Akiko.

I've seen on Wikizilla that we're not going to see humanoid Godzilla, so, the real theory is, she might be dead of radiation sickness.
