15. A Kiss in the Rain
Nidai stooped slightly in order to fit under the umbrella Ibuki held, putting them a bit close for just friends. Ibuki blushed, then looked away. "N-Neko-chan's too tall..." "Well maybe you're just too short..."After a moment he looked down, moving one hand to straighten the hair-horn on the left side of her head where it'd started to fall out from the rain."...?" She turned her head at the feeling and their eyes met. "Y'know, Ibuki, I've always wondered...Why you wear these?""They're Ibuki's horns!" She moved to headbutt his chest, bouncing backwards. "Owww...Neko-chan's too solid for Ibuki!" He blinked, then chuckled softly, grabbing hold of the umbrella in order to hold it higher. Ibuki kept her grip on it and he pulled her up, causing their lips to meet. "...!" Both pulled back quickly and looked away, momentarily forgetting about the rain until a peal of thunder startled Nidai enough to make the lightning coming from his eyes crackle a little."Neko-chan's scared of thunder!""Let's just get inside...."
