I don't like some people's tone abt mel... she doesn't have a life bc she's a glass child and becca and her were orphans at 20 and she is becca's primary caregiver so much of her time and energy goes to becca because becca requires significant support not bc mel is too clingy or something. sure she needs to come to terms with some aspects of becca's adulthood/independence but let's not act like mel can just get up and decide to get a life unless someone takes something off her plate. mel's lived the life she has bc she has so many responsibilities not bc she has some self-pity complex

that look frank gives mel after she asks him to teach her.... 1) that's his babyyyy his princess could ask him for the moon in the sky and he'd get it for her 2) him being so awed by her trust in him is exactly how he would react to the honour of taking her virginity and being her daddy and taking care of her forever

langdon was not lying he does not need to reveal the intricacies of his addiction and the behaviour symptomatic of it to anyone. he literally does not have a history of speaking over or disrespecting people lower than him in the hierarchy. he was a great teacher in s1 and is even better this season. regardless of how he expressed it he didn't say anything about santos that wasn't true. in fact she still isn't a team player and still disrespects hierarchy and still refuses to be taught. what we're not going to do is rewrite history

people being so harsh on javadi for her patient falling between the cracks in the caos of the analog system when white med students and even residents have almost killed their patients in normal conditions just bc they're biased/negligent/arrogant okkkkk...

if you think about it the only reason they made langdon be married was so there was tension in the kingdon storyline and so he wouldn't jump mel's bones in ep 1

mckay is safe for now.... but god forbid mel has whimsy and interests fuck everybody I'm so sick of people acting annoyed when mel talks you should be so lucky to be in her presence AND no reaction to her saying she's also an orphan and a full time caretaker for her sibling I'm blowing that hospital up i swear to god

kingdon au where langdon is agonising over his longing for mel and tells her he cannot ask her to be part of an affair and he will not have her be the other woman and how she deserves so much better that him and mel just goes so you don't want me :( and you hate me :( and you think I'm ugly and undesirable :( and langdon considers legitimately killing himself and he cries and gives mel exactly what she wants which is to be fucked into next tuesday and mel is like yay! :)

just had a vision of frank saying something high off adrenaline like "we killed that, baby" and high fiving mel after the trauma and everyone just stares at him like wdym baby??? they've only known each other two days??? and mel's cheeks are a little pink the rest of the day
