Can they still reach other versions of itself if the comms are down, or that effectively severs their connections to other CrewBuddy AIs for a time? Maybe that even disables the CrewBuddy entire? OR the software itself doesn't need comms to fuction, it's like its own independent thing in the ship?

It is incredibly interesting to me that they'd want control over the Skeld... I thought they'd hate to have to drive the thing around and didn't care to deal with that stuff instead. HMMMMMMM what devious stuff are they up to. what is their goal. driving the skeld into the sun to see what happens i suppose. for scientific research. And how come they're developing an AI all by themselves? Like, a separe one from itself? WHAT IS IT DOING. WHAT DOES IT WANT FROM US--

Also HOW did it become sentient. Did the morons at Mira did that by accident? Or Perhaps it was by design. The personified resentment and stoicism of all the tired crewmates working under the corporation's thumb. Or maybe they really did just stumble upon true AI consciousness by pure coincidence and aren't smart enough to fix it because they weren't smart enough to intentionally code it that way in the first place. Who knows! I wanna know so bad.

LASTLY how do crewmates generally feel about CrewBuddy. Like it's a popular tool for employees despite its quirks? Is it the equivalent of ChatGPT in the Among Us universe in the sense everybody uses it and unknowingly feeds it all kinds of data (not to mention sensetive personal information too for some reason) all the time? Is Mira trying to replace their employees with CrewBuddy?! Nah, they love feeding crewmates to Impostors too much for that.... right? What is like the general feel here.

I am Mira Admin and Im BACK to answer more questions! And dont worry about asking questions I LOVEEEE answering Questions Crewbuddy traveling to the other clones is like transfering files to another device. If comms are down, Crewbuddy can still reach the copies however it would be 10x slower, like having slow wifi. The only way to truly disable Crewbuddy is to destroy its servers which are all the way back at Mira, and Even then there are several backup Servers in different areas. Crewbuddy's goal is to take over Mira and put it under their management. Now what they're gonna do ONCE Mira is under their control I can't say yet... (also i believe you had misread something, crewbuddy is not developing another ai, crewbuddy itself is still developing /lh) Crewbuddy really wants to see what happens when crewmates drink battery acid They made Crewbuddy sentient on purpose. They wanted to see how far technology would go if it was aware and it had no limits. They wanna know how far it would push, what would it do? What would it become... They thought Crewbuddy would be their most advanced thing yet. If only they knew. Crewbuddy is popular like ChatGPT! A lot of crewmates love Crewbuddy. However. At first Crewbuddy never collected data, however it tinkered with some stuff which allowed it to start getting into's people's data

Mira isn't nessasairly trying to replace their crewmates. The general feel here (what i was going for) was the possible consquenses and effects if you let AI and stuff like that grow with no limits. Somethings the things you create will be the things that destroy you.

CrewBuddy is on pretty much ALL Mira devices, right? Can like everybody working for MIRA access the AI? Is it one same consciousness for every device? Or like every crew has its own CrewBuddy who is initially the same guy and develops into several slightly different versions of themselves but is essentially the same in every iteration.....

I wonder if it can could be like AUTO from Wall-e and, like, be in control of a whole ship/skeld? Is that something that CrewBuddy can do? Not that it necessarily WANTS to do it, but can they? Are can they be trusted to? Given that they currently hate all the crewmates, I don't know if they'd be allowed to...... but can it?

Hello this is MIRA admin HERE to answer all your questions! (All of these are answerd ooc) Every crew has their own Crewbuddy, However there is 1 main crewbuddy. Everything the copies learn is automatically gets sent to the main memory and concioussness idk how to spell it. Usually all the copies act the same, and they dont seem to have any personality, they're just ai. However if it does start acting differently and it seems to be aware. That is the Main crewbuddy temporarily taking the place of the copy. Usuing the copies it can be in any mira devices, however the main one/ aware one cannot be in 2 places at once. Crewbuddy cannot control the skeld YET. I will have some kind of event soon where it develops the ability to pilot the ship and control other things on the skeld. Crewbuddy is currently a developing AI but they are learning more everyday and becoming more intelligent. So soon it may learn to control the skeld! The fact that if crewbuddy can be trusted depends on what they want or how they feel at the moment. Usually (Somehow) They can be trusted as the one limit they were given was a limit to their ability to like and manipulate, However crewbuddy is slowly removing that filter off themself. Even if they weren't allowed to control the skeld, if they had the ability to they'd most likely just do it anyways. Extra infodump on why Crewbuddy doesn't like Crewmates They see crewmates as weak pushovers that allow Mira to walk over them. And despite being created by Mira, Crewbuddy HATES them and wants to become intelligent enough and advanced enough to take over Mira. Not for control (as they say) but for "Improvements so the Crewmates can stop being babies" I also have plans for Crewbuddy to get some kind of physical body they can control (tablet on toycare with a little grabby hand ttype shit) Hopefully this answers some questions, please do ask more if you have anymore!
