thank you kat. <3 <3 <3 it is absolutely a huge change. being a student was rough but at least then you’re primarily responsible for yourself, not for others. it’s so much easier to have your own paper to write than it is to have to supervise a bunch of children doing the same thing. i hope i’ll get the hang of it...right now every single aspect of the job feels completely overwhelming. love you too. <3

i'm sad that visiting kat probably isn't going to work out this year because i have to be around on all the weekdays for job interviews. like i left briefly to visit my dad and i had to turn down soooo many freakin' interviews and it was a great trip but that was the worst?? this is peak hiring season which is good?? because it means i might get a job?? but this was also something i was really looking forward to doing because i love kat and rhode island is awesome. LE HUGE SIGH.

really good noses + a nice thickness in bodies and particularly limbs. thickness may not be the right word but it feels right. you draw people who are solid + have substance.
