She was just so hungry, Hornet🥺 she didn't do anything or look sketchy at all, Hornet🥺 it's the cycle of life, Hornet🥺 plus you didn't want to absorb GMS anyway😒 also someone needed to take the throne of Pharloom to welcome the pilgrims in and clean up the Citadel's mess. Yeah apparently there's a valid reason GMS kept her mouth shut about the existence of another daughter, and my girl ascends like how girlhood evolves (by devouring that which has come before her)👍

Creature (It/Its) likes listening to little bugs singing, and is ready to throw down with anyone and everyone. It's a complete hater of the short fork king and the tree branch queen of Hallownest, and had a good and long (silent) laugh when it heard that Hallownest was now a Dead Man's (Bug?) Zone. It lives in the wasteland, and spends it's time guiding lost bugs or groups towards civilization. Also, it and the Black Knight probably has a Flee on Sight order for mercenaries or assassins crossing the Wasteland ever since the (REDACTED) Massacre™. Has an inexplicable softness for short and kind bugs who also sings that kind of clashes with it's terrifying reputation. It's first meeting with Ghost and the rest of the Dirthmouth gang was...an event😓

Vivus (the other vessel hugging Creature) is the golden retriever to Creature's black cat, and is determined to bond with her sibling.

I was inspired by both GMS and Aurora's design on Sky: Children of the Light. she's a quirky little kid that absolutely no one, specifically Lace, knew about, vibing with the pilgrims and avoiding enemies on the road to the Citadel

favorite oc family in hollow knight, if I do say so myself.

Varisa is a blue morpho butterfly, of course, while Zirran was supposed to be an atlas moth, and Nysera is the same kind of bug as Myla. Yes I did make up an oc owner for the dreamshield that isn't a moth, what are you gonna do about it?

Jk though, it was Zirran's gift to her after they got together, because Nysera is many things, but a fighter is not one of them.

Anyway, Varisa was their adopted daughter and the only one to survive out of the three of them when The Radiance infected practically everyone. Zirran died in the Howling Cliffs while he was trying to find something (or someone) that could help Nysera, who became infected, so Varisa had no choice but to kill her mother when she attacked the butterfly. Since then, she's been taking care of the Resting Grounds alongside The Seer when Ghost came around.

This is Vivus, my vessel oc from my Hollow Knight/Bug Fables Crossover Au.

Vivus is a knight of the Rogia Kingdom from the Ufias Continent and one of the discarded vessels who escaped the Abyss and left Hallownest. A proficient wielder of a doubled ended blade, she was the bane of anyone she fought against due to bearing the deadly combination of strength, flexibility, and speed.

Despite being genderless like the rest of her siblings, she answers to the pronouns of She/They, having likened the sound of the female pronoun and wanting to be identified by them. Like the Hollow Knight, she molted several times until her final molt saw her being taller than Ghost, who could not molt, and several of her fellow Rogian Knights.

They lost their memories after wandering the wastelands outside Hallownest, and Ghost had not wanted them to remember the terror that she had felt before so hid the fact that she was missing memories.

Because Ghost has closed their ears to any screams for help from Hallownest, even from their siblings, the one who heard the Hollow Knights call was Vivus, who did not know who or where the call was coming from and subsequently freaked out.

To avoid Vivus possibly losing her life in her fervour to find that call, Ghost made Vivus promise to stay in Rogia while they look for the call, and Vivus agreed.

Thus Vivus stayed in Rogia while her sibling sailed to Hallownest, starting the canon storyline with some minor differences.
