April 13, 2019 - Parque Nacional Torres del Paine W Trek, Day One - Mirador Grey Out and Back
After our ferry ride, we dropped our full packs off at Refugio Paine Grande and set off for the five hour out-and-back to Mirador Grey, the first leg of the W trek. It felt unreal to actually be hiking in Patagonia, and I had to keep breathing in sharply to remember that I was indeed in real life. The photos below say it all – the unreal glaciers and lakes we hiked around, the beautiful fall colors of Torres del Paine, and the cold weather that kept us moving quickly. We saw a cute little fox at the end!
