Hey! Obviously youve also been following the world cup games and i agree that the games are entertaining but i started having discussions about how they waste too much miney and attention on it instead of more usefull stuff. Friends of mine say that its just the same with movies (which i am obsessed with) but do you think thats true? Despite personal preferance here, do you think that at the end of the day, money spent on movies or soccer is just equally wasted?

I hadn’t thought that way, but I believe so. There are awards and everything else to the movies and tv shows, there is a whole glamour. And exist that thing of who is more beautiful, “what you’re wearing?” blah blah In football that shit doesn’t exist but exist that battle ‘who is the best’ “my team is better than yours” “my team has the best player in the world” “I have 35564734 trophies” (obviously, in football we have inserted identity issues in these fights, as regional, racial, etc.). Billions and billions are spent and there it is, the corruption. But this shit is here, with us, everywhere, this shit exists since we know each other as human beings. But anyway, the goal of both is entertain. I’m not talking shit about movies or football because I love both, but it all depends on your point of view, everything in this world has its flaws and qualities. We ourselves are like that. Then it’s just a matter of how you think and what size the importance you give to each one. You can have fun watching a football game but can make the difference in your own country voting in the presidential elections, making the world your live in a better place, etc..Today, the 21st century, you spend money in everything. EVERYTHING. After all, the basis of our society is capitalistic. I can’t imagine a human being without the entertainment. And we have that, most of the time, to spend money. But you just need to spend your money wisely ;) I hope that I have answered your question!
