🎭 - A Former Friend

Charlie Farley is a Gryffindor in Marlene’s year whom she and Kat were very close to. Charlie was always known as the life of the party, so it was no surprise that the girls got along so well with him. Shortly after graduation, Charlie seemed to fall off the face of the planet, leaving a sour taste in Marlene’s mouth and a strong desire to have words with him about so-called friendship should Marlene ever see him again.

🌻 - Their Father

Atticus McKinnon is, in many people’s opinions, the literal devil, and everything that is wrong with Marlene. As an Auror, Atticus always ran a tight ship within the department as he climbed the ranks, and especially at home with his children. He insisted on them all toughening up, couldn’t stand whining and crying, and liked to poke fun at them---harmless fun, he called it. No one doubts that Atticus loves his chldren, but there is debate as to whether or not he knows how to show it.

🔍  - An Acquaintance

As a quidditch commentator, Marlene has met her fair share of professional players over the past few years. Most notable was the American seeker Max Brankovitch, whom Marlene dated for nearly a year. In fact, after her brother’s death, she briefly considered moving to the United States with him, a consideration that didn’t last very long. She survived America for a total of ten days before she was back in the United Kingdom, thus ending her relationship with Max permanently (though on good terms).
