🖋 + Your boyfriend All Might.

Fuyumi had always loved All Might. Even as a child he’d been her favourite hero- alongside her father, of course. And when she’d met him as a young adult, those butterflies that she felt in her stomach when she used to watch him on the news were still there. She’d assumed it was just a silly school girl crush, or excitement about seeing her favourite hero. But, as time passed, her feelings didn’t diminish at all. If anything, they burned even brighter, especially as the two began to spend more time together and she began to learn more about Toshinori.

And now, as they walked along hand in hand, making shy conversation, she didn’t think she’d ever loved him more.

“Do you think we can make the five o’clock showing of the movie?” She asked softly, sparing a glance up at him. He hummed a bit, softly, before nodding slightly.

“The cinema’s only a few minutes away from here, isn’t it?” he pondered, and Fuyumi nodded a bit in reply. “We still have fifteen minutes to get there and get sorted out, so that should be plenty of time.”

“T-that sounds good,” she smiled. After a moment’s silence, her fingers timidly threaded through his larger ones. Toshinori’s response was a deep blush as he gently reciprocated the action, and warmth engulfed Fuyumi’s hand. Her cheeks flushed deeply as she looked down at the pavement. She still felt his gaze on her, and eventually lifted her head to meet his eyes, biting down on her lip. Toshinori looked a bit hesitant, and he slowly came to a stop. She blinked in confusion, frowning slightly as she obediently halted alongside him.

“Are you okay...? Does your side hurt...?” she asked, concerned, as her hand subconsciously squeezed his. The red on his cheeks darkened and he slowly shook his head, clearing his throat.

“Ah, n-no, I was just, uh, thinking about something.”

“Oh.” She paused. “...D-Do you need to talk about it?” she prompted gently. She didn’t want him to be worried about something and feel unable to tell anyone. He averted his eyes- making her eyebrows furrow- before he turned towards her again.

“I-I was just wondering i-if it would be a-alright for me to kiss you, M-Miss Fuyumi.”

All of her thoughts went blank for a moment. He wanted to...kiss her? Heat began to rapidly rise to her face as she fumbled over her words, unable to even think clearly. Eventually she noticed that he was starting to panic; she could feel his fingers trembling where they were still curled around her own.

“O-Of course,” she let out breathlessly. “O-Of course that w-would be okay.”

Toshinori’s eyes widened for a moment, before his shoulders slumped in clear relief. He released a shaky breath of, “A-Are you s-s-sure?” He seemed to be as nervous as she was, which was somewhat comforting.

She gave a quick nod, her blush practically suffocating her. His fingers left hers in favour of carefully cupping her boiling cheeks, and she could feel them trembling against the skin. She was suddenly thankful there weren’t many other people around- or maybe it only seemed that way since she was so focused on him. Her own hands lightly clenched his shirt as she slowly looked up at him, swallowing. He hesitantly began to stoop down, and she compliantly stood on her tiptoes so he could reach a little more easily.

Her grip on his shirt immediately tightened as their lips brushed against each other. The kiss was soft, shy, gentle. They pressed closer together, Fuyumi feeling the warmth of his body against her own. She decided to be bold, deepening the kiss a little bit. Toshinori squeaked slightly but didn’t pull away, his hands shakily moving down to her hips to tug her against him. Her arms slid around his neck the best they could, and they remained there even after they’d pulled away for air. They gasped for breath, staring at each other with equally pink cheeks and equally shy smiles.

Maybe they wouldn’t make the movie in time after all.
