Summary: It was only Sango. It would only ever be Sango. But Miroku wanted what was best for her, and that person was Lord Takeda. No matter how much it pained him to let her go, he knew he had to. For her sake. For her happiness.

This one is for @violetasteria, who has been having a rough go of things lately. I wanted to do something to cheer her up! I wrote this for @weekofmirsan originally for Mirsanweek2022, however, I had my baby early so it was left unfinished. I managed to crank out 4,000 words this past month while my baby napped, so I am FINALLY able to post it. I’m really pleased with how it came out because I’ve been dying to write this episode from his point of view for a long time.

It’s officially @weekofmirsan!!! I was really nervous I wouldn’t finish this in time, but I am happy to say that I got the first chapter done for Gold! I have two other chapters planned. All three chapters were based on songs with Gold in the title, so when I found out day 1 was gold/promises, I had to write this!

Summary: Sango frequents a café daily, relishing her alone time with her work. However, when a mysterious man shows up with a new girl each day, Sango can't help but become enamored by the possibilities of him. Sango doesn't like a gold rush, and tries to push her daydreams to the side. Yet in the golden glow of the sun through the blinds, he thinks she's just as golden.

After almost 10 long months, the next chapter of 273 is FINALLY complete!! Thank you all for being so patient with me. This chapter, as most things do, got away from me. Before I knew it, was 9,000 words in length. I debated splitting it into two chapters, but decided you all deserved an extra long chapter after an extra long wait. Read it here :) ------------------- “Of course he was flirting with you, dummy!” “He flirts with everything that has a vagina,” Sango mumbles, rubbing her cheek. “We’ve had this discussion a million times. Nothing has changed. Nothing is going to change. He doesn’t love me like I love him.“

The silence that follows nearly consumes her as her brain catches up with her mouth. “I’m sorry, you what?”
