❝ I made a snow dick. look – it’s happy to see you. ❞

Winter. Snow. It was sort of entertaining, he guessed. Never really has been something that he thought was more special or important than any other time of the year, but — it was a thing. It existed. He didn’t hate it, but was there much that Kim Mingyu hated? No. Why? Because in order to hate it, he’d have to actually have an opinion on it. In truth, he didn’t pay much mind to things that he couldn’t control. There were far more interesting and dire things for him to focus his mind and energy on. It was simple. The seasons changed, the temperature changed with them, and he just had to dress accordingly. That was the only thing that set this time of the year apart from the others.
Well… usually.
This year seemed to change that endless, and frankly? Rather fucking depressing cycle. The change wasn’t something that he expected, but it also wasn’t something that he loathed. He welcomed it, honestly. He was ready to face and embrace every day, and this year, Christmas wasn’t going to go uncelebrated. He was happy. He was content. He was—
Embarrassed.
He was really, really embarrassed. “You wha—” He felt his cheeks warm up, despite the icy air that surrounded his entire frame. “I… Stop that!” Immediately, a large grin tugged at his lips, and loud, breathy laughter bubbled up from within his chest. “I don’t want it happy to see me, destroy it!” A few months ago, this reaction from the hitman certainly wouldn’t have been possible, but his high spirits caused his constant brooding to take a vacation. It was a good thing because Kim Mingyu’s laughter was beautiful and he was happy he had his savior to make it possible once more.
Mingyu stepped closer to his Second in Command, laughter still spilling. “Dispose of it, I’m begging you. Well, that, or replace the nose of the snowman. I’ll make it up to you either way. Just don’t go waving it at me anymore, please.”
