Some #witches have beautiful mirror books... I am not one of them #mirrorbook #chickenscratch #witchesoftiktok #witchtok #wiccan #pagan
Check out my tiktok, been posting some witchy tips and spells 🙌🏻✨
So I just lost my job. I’m going to start my own business but wanted to make some prosperity bottles to nudge me along my way! I whipped up three, a big one I’m going to bury beside the rosemary bush next to my front gate - to welcome in good fortune. A smaller one for next to my bed, and a tiny baby one for in my wallet.
Prosperity Spell Bottle

Egg shells - prosperity and fortune
Salt - cleansing negative energy
Pyrite - financial growth
Citrine - abundance and manifestation
Moss agate - abundance and wealth
Snowflake obsidian - fulfilment and manifestation
I’m spending some time and trying to memorise the cards. When I do a reading I still rely on my mirror book that has some of the meanings listed. I’m starting with the major arcana and testing myself before bed.
Spent some time updating the Sabbat pages in my mirror book. Originally I’d done some crappy illustrations and had written some of the story of the birth and rebirth of the God / Goddess. I do believe in the gods but in a much more vague and universal sense, so the old myths just didn’t sit with my practice any more. Replaced them with some matter of fact statements about what is celebrated on each day. Dates are Southern Hemisphere.
Also added an envelope for my leftover stickers, ribbons and feathers and added an index so I can find stuff a little faster. I’m blown away that I have written almost 120 pages.

Mirror Book Entry Which spirit animal do you resonate with or invoke in your work? I was reading about animal symbolism the other day. We all take those “which is your spirit animal” or “which animal would be your patronus” quiz, but animal symbolism is an old tradition. We are, of course, complex and can pick and choose different elements from many animals that might speak to us, but I was particularly drawn to the deer and the owl which is why I included them in my crest design (see my profile picture) There are certain elements of the deer that I do not have and might invoke during spell work. Grace through transitions in life is a huge part of the deer. I like to think that I can navigate my way through my obstacles, but I hardly do it with gentleness and grace. I was without a doubt the worse ballet dancer in my class although my poor mother never gave up hope! In Celtic traditions, the deer represents feminine beauty which is also something that I struggle with. I’ve never been very comfortable in my own skin. It seems almost laughable that I would turn to witchcraft when I have so much doubt in my own feminine power, but I like the deer to help me believe more in myself There are just as many elements where the deer and I do resonate in perfect harmony. On the outside, we are resolute during our transitions and regenerations. As the deer sheds and grows its antlers, I fluctuate during the transitions of my life. They symbolize creativity and intuition, something that also thrives within me. She is inspiration The deer is the perfect guide for me. She thrives in family and solidarity, and imbues love and grace and will hopefully lead me in light and dark and through the changing of the seasons

im not one for making resolutions. just because when i find myself slipping or if i feel like i havent stuck to one, its very easy for me to be hard on myself, no matter how small the goal was/is. so here is a small list of things ive been thinking about as the year comes to a close, of things i want to achieve, minus the pressure of labeling them ‘resolutions’.
