Um… here is my Mirror Marx design!
He is basically a much more insane version of Marx. Always laughing and giggling. Having a big creepy smile on his face. He doesn’t even try to have a cute facade. He is like this almost all the time.
But like the real Marx, Mirror Marx is a very traumatized puffball. His parents were killed by Dark Dedede and he tried to destroy Popstar out of spite. Only to be defeated by Shadow Kirby.
Also Mirror Marx is sick. Very sick. Not just mentally but psychically too. He suffers from a condition that makes him very weak, sickly and vulnerable to illness. It has gotten so bad that Mirror Marx has gotten close to dying at least once. Mirror Marx spends his days mostly in his room in Shadow Magolor’s Lor in bed sick. When he is not feeling lousy, he’s usually being an absolute terror to everyone around him.
His story arc revolves around him contacting the real Marx and Magolor to help cure his illness because if he dies, the real Marx dies too.

Day 2: Curiosity / Mirrored

Mirror counterparts! I swear this isn't going to just be alternate versions of MariPav Marx and Magolor. I based them off their soul forms, Marx Soul and Magolor EX.
Shadow Mags's outfit is a lot closer to Hyness's and his face is much more covered. He is a lot more reclusive and closed off. Just like OG Magolor, Shadow Mags lost his legs, but he has two prosthetics and uses forearm crutches to get by. I image the pain is more intense since he's constantly putting pressure on them. Dark Marx leans much more into his monstrous side than OG Marx. Instead of (metaphorically) wishing to no longer be a monster, he wished for the world to fear him. He still wished on the clockwork star, but instead was quicker on the up take for control his new powers. He had to be or risk dying an excruciating death. I don't think Shadow Magolor and Dark Marx would really get along

My Own Mirror Marx spin
So yes there are a ton of versions…I had to look them all up so I don’t accidentally steal someone else’s idea. But here is my take on him.
Marx was a noddy born very weak and sickly. His parents who were VERY neglectful went to Nova to wish their son was better only to keep up their image of a “perfect” family. They asked for him to be powerful and smart. But this Nova was NOT a nice one. She gives them their wish….but at price.
Marx at first grew up fine….his baby years were actually adorable. They thought he was fine…that is until he had his first tantrum.
He literally transformed into his Soul Marx version. He looked hideous and monsterous. He used magic no one could understand and nearly destroyed the house.
Now…you would think any good parent would have tried to help him right….
Well….some people are better off not parents.
He was abandoned at 3 years old sent to another planet. He grew up alone, scared and confused. He was always chased away due to his “ devil side”
He eventually decided….why try to be good when the world hates you.
If they wanted a monster….fine….they got one
Marx is well known and feared.
He locks away his emotions and became a monster.
No one remembers his real name. He made sure of that
But now he has the nickname
“ The Darkest Star”
