The dados in the Central Hall are decorated with mirror work. This has given the building its new name but it may not be original: It appears to have been added later than the paintings. The paintings in the Veranda and in the domed ceiling depict wind figures among clouds, suggesting that it was another pleasure resort, but one of a particular kind. It is a Badal Mahal: a place to contemplate and enjoy the monsoon season.
