Dorothy was clear of bullets and blood, despite the aged paint stains making it hard to tell at a glance. Clean enough for the public at least, and while she would have preferred a calmer path to New York, even she had seen not a single possibility for that. Leaving the tower always meant a trail of blood in their wake.
“I’m… Fine.” She bit her lip nervously, glancing around with a tug on her sleeve. Would it be best to warn him first…? It was decided quickly to be a yes as she followed, gathering any nearby supplies into her bag in the meantime.
Her uneven eyes darted across the bodies. Just avoiding his gaze for the moment. “We’ll be alright for a little while… But… Be cautious. A man of blue crystals lies ahead...”
