Project 2: Life on the Fringe 

[ Part 2] Some of my favourite images I took on our study trip to Prague showing spaces we explored and some group photos. Including:

Mirror Labyrinth on Petrin Hill: Links to current Design studies looking at heterotopia's (other spaces) and the droste effect.

National Theatre (old and new): Old theatre has a distinct golden roof. New theatre allowed the architects to play with an interesting brief of no light entering the space in which they create a raised glass brick structure (like bubble wrap).

National Museum new building: Building uses technology to confuse city occupants into thinking its being held up by nearly two steel beams. 

Old Town Square: Just across from the oldest astronomical clock in Europe, which was a clear example of how people only use their cameras to experience a city.

Franz Kafka Fountain: A statue that has two impowering government leaders urinating on Prague. (Useful idea for our current Design idea of control).
