yoo ppl who follow me and still like noglb(don’t know why you’re still here mfkdkskdkdkek),,,, what would you guys do if i just posted all of the chapter notes and future plans i had for this fic,,,,,,,,,

so,, you remember a while back when i said i was taking a break from noglb until i get the motivation back? yeah, that’s still happening, but i have finished, like, two lil short drabble that take place in noglb,, and one slightly bigger one still being worked on,, (i mean i haven’t touched it in a long time but, like,, shhh,,,,),,, so i have decided to share the first two. bc. like. why not.

here is the first one,, ignore the title,, i’m not good at names,,, it basically takes place in, like,, an act 2/sequel version of noglb, i suppose? and that’s about as much as i can say, w/out giving out too many spoilers(not that i have it planned out that much, but still). may or may not leave this part out of the final product, who knows.

and here is the second one,, takes place during what was planned of noglb,, and that is also as much as i can way w/out giving away anything important.

i mean, technically speaking, it is finished, it’s just that ‘m never gonna really do anything with it. it was supposed to be an icon for an askblog i thought of, which, if you couldn’t tell, is based around npc grian and robot grian. i do sorta have a bit of plot, and a direction i would have wanted it to go in, but if i do ever want to start on it, i would have to finish noglb first. which, may take a while..

also, yes, this takes place in the noglb!au. ....it would make sense if i ever got around to explaining it.

Is NOGLB discontinued?

oh, no! not yet at least..

it’s just on a hiatus until i figure out how the heck to get past this writers block and start writing chapter 7.

i posted a bit of info ‘bout it on ao3 and wattpad, but basically, i just can’t get past the beginning.. i am not good at writing beginnings, it’s a miracle that i was able to do it for the last 6 chapters + prologue..

but ‘m not giving up on it. i have plans for at least one sequel, and maybe even an ask blog(not based on the main plot but also kinda is). i know there’s still gonna be questions even after i finish noglb, bc i did not think ahead that far while planning the 18 chapters + prologue and epilogue. ...oh yea, heads up, there’s only gonna be 18 chapters. was originally 19, but i merged the og chapters 3 and 4 into one bc 3 was shorter than expected. so, thank that, otherwise it would’ve ended in a cliffhanger.

but yea, i got plans, and i really want to share them with you guys, and the only way to do that is to finish writing noglb(so far, there’s like, two, maybe three questions brought up in the past chapters[i can say them if you guys want], and only two of them are planning to be answered by the end of this first fic. [..if you look hard enough, one of them has an answer already, and, as a heads up, it has nothing to do with grian..]), so that’s one major reason to continue. and, i really enjoy seeing you guys’ reactions.. everytime i get a comment, or a tag rant on the fic, or ppl just yelling it at me on discord, i get all happy and just tend to bounce around the house. you guys make me want to continue. so, noglb is not being discontinued. not if i can help it.

Hermitober — Day 6 — Evil X — Superhero/Villian

ooookkayy i feel like i should explain this one a bit.

so, basically, a couple days ago, i had an idea of ‘hey, what if evil x became wormmans sidekick, but for real this time?’ or something like that, and boom. this happened. and grian’s poultry man’s there, too, just ‘cause.

in case it isn’t obvious, ex is the one in the fox costume(which may be updated). still coming up with a name for him, but for now, i’m going with foxtrot. if i find a better name, trust me, i will take it. but, i am not good with names, and i was not going to call him fox-man, so foxtrot it is.

also yes this technically takes place in the noglb universe i just didn’t put grian’s wings on him because reasons. also also yes that means i’m going to somehow shove this into one of the sequels i am planning. somehow.

What's doc's deal sksbsbbxndndn

uh, okay, this is probably one i should explain, i’ve done a pretty terrible job at conveying it in the fic xD

(quick warning now, i am not good with words, so i may confuse you more)

k, so, long story short, he’s trying to protect his friends.

he feels like, if he appears threatening and stuff, grian won’t try anything.

and why he thinks grian would try something, is pretty complicated, but not at the same time. basically, he is acting pretty suspicious. some of the hermits feel like he’s hiding stuff since he isn’t comfortable with human interaction, or he doesn’t trust them much yet(which is plausible, since, you know, how’d you feel if a bunch of random strangers broke into your house after a really traumatic event?), or stuff like that, but doc thinks he’s lying to hide something bad.

i’ve already stated in the fic that doc knows how grian looks a lot like how he described these beings you could never come across(which i realized is probably bad, since they have something covering their eyes, but, pshh, whatever), and how he just **found** an *obsidian freaking sword*. he knows grian is lying when he says he doesn’t know how this world went downhill, and if i’m being honest, i’m sure some of the hermits realize that, too.

however, instead of being a big bully immediately suspicious of him, they come across the idea that, maybe, he’s just had a traumatic past, and these things relate to that, or, maybe he’s actually telling the truth(they think it’s very unlikely, but it doesn’t keep them from throwing out the idea).

doc, meanwhile, just doesn’t want to wait around for something to happen. someone on wattpad had said that he shouldn’t just hurt him if he hasn’t hurt him or his friends, and while true, doc doesn’t want to wait for his friends to get hurt. why wait for something bad to happen, when you can stop it before it happens? he’s already done that once, he doesn’t want to fail them more than he already has.

so, uh.. yea, that’s docs deal.. hopefully that explains it..
