Light and Misa remains one of my fav toxic ship dynamics to this day. They're legit so damn interesting to me - manga especially, where the more intimate parts of their relationship are more greatly hinted at.

I just really love the familiarity they develop towards each other over the years. If it was just Misa's love/obsession for Light it would not be nearly as interesting. I love that while Light never returns her feelings, she IS still a constant in his life. Misa is reliable (most of the time lol). Misa is predictable (relatively). Misa is Misa 🩷
