that's actually a relief about forfuturereferenceonly. the world is marginally less stupid than i thought
exactly, and there's like a 50% chance they're just doing it for a reaction to begin with, so you have no chance of affecting the person at all
plus there'd be something really satisfying about just freezing someone out and outright ignoring them when they tried to stir things up
