It kinda goes on rotation. I have three original stories that have been plaguing my mind lately, but then recently I also started thinking about my OM OCs again because I miss them. Inevitably I keep thinking about writing a prequel to Arrie's story and possibly some shorter ones about some of the other OCs. Because they also have interesting stories I just never wrote anything for them lol.
Aside from that, I've been thinking a LOT about the gay vampire story that I just barely started and I have SO MANY ideas for. But alas time is my enemy! Well that and energy. I just find these particular OCs to be very entertaining and you know vampires are always fun. So I think about them a lot when I'm just spacing out lakdsjf. One of them in particular is somewhat hazardous to himself and I'm always coming up with scenarios in which he's gotten into some kind of trouble and the other one has to save him all the time.
And like... this is just the tip of the iceberg asldkjf. Maybe one day I'll actually get around to writing some of this stuff!

Out of all the animes you’ve watch what ones are your favorites
...you know what, you get the serious answer. I used to track my anime watching, so out of the 450+ completed ones on my list, here are some of my top recommendations! (In terms of quality, more so than what I've spent the most time dwelling on.)

One Piece — I haven't technically watched all of this one, but after falling back into the fandom after an 8-ish year break, I really can't understate the quality. One Piece's story is amazing, and I'm consistently impressed by the author's characters/worldbuilding.
Dominion Tank Police (1988) — I have FEELINGS about the villain in this one... Overall, 80s sci-fi vibes mix with themes of ethical responsibility and societal peacekeeping, and the "don't you just want to go apeshit? :)" protagonist (who's also extremely aromantic-coded) is a hilarious, yet wonderfully earnest little menace!
Kyousougiga — I've been rewatching this one recently, and the sheer detail in every scene is STUNNING. I keep having to pause to mentally scream about the symbolism, and tbh, knowing the plot from my original watch is only improving the experience.
Tekkon Kinkreet — This one's a movie, not a series, but SKLJKHS IT HAUNTS ME. Absolutely chilling, by the time the big plot twists roll around... Beyond that, the overall aesthetic/vibe is impeccable, and the exaggerated, messy art style only adds to that.
Kemonozume — Monster/human forbidden romance with stunning art and a great soundtrack. The plot started out a bit confusing, but all of the scattered story elements came together nicely in the end!
The Tatami Galaxy — The "get your shit together and start enjoying your life" anime. It's plenty good as just a story, but I got some excellent life lessons out of it too. Solid mix of comedy, drama, and charismatic-yet-extremely-bizarre characters interacting.
Monster — Excellent slow-paced, psychological horror packed with ethical dilemmas, traumatic backstories, and so many Extremely Depressed Men. In other words, there's a very good reason why Johan Liebert used to end up on so many "best anime villains" lists.
Paranoia Agent — I have nothing but praise for Satoshi Kon's work, in general, and Paranoia Agent has been my favorite of the ones I've seen so far. Compared to his movies, it really benefits from the extra space for plot development, and the big emotional twist hits hard.
Revolutionary Girl Utena — A true classic. <3 There are enough tumblr essays about this tragic yuri masterpiece that I won't go into detail myself, but yes, it's every bit as good as you've heard.
Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail — The entire Black Lagoon series is excellent, but Roberta is my special girl. Unfortunately, the OAV adaption compresses the manga's version of her arc pretty heavily (and the altered ending is kind of dumb), but I still have to recommend it. Babygirl's breakdown is a REAL mess kjshghs
Claymore — Excellent pseudo-medieval fantasy with badass female characters, lots of body horror, and top-tier monster design. The manga is MUCH better than the anime after a certain point, however.
Kuuchuu Buranko — An episodic series about an eccentric psychiatrist interacting with his troubled patients. The mixed-media animation style and bizarre characters are what sold it for me, along with the exploration of mental health through storytelling tropes.
Cannon Fodder — An artistic short movie that's twenty minutes of aesthetic experience and fascinating worldbuilding implications. I love the vibe, and the "one, long horizontal frame" style is neat.
Flowers of Evil — The art style. The VIBES. The whole thing is incredibly eerie and off-putting, with a plot that's pretty much: "congrats! two shitty teenagers are tearing each other's lives apart!".
Okay the fact that Solomon wear a whole amour of white and that giant witch hat to MC’s wedding will never not be funny to me. Like Imagine everything in the wedding (including the bride’s dress/suit) would be black bcs it’s hell yk?
And there he is, your teacher (who not obviously in love with you wdym?) showed up in full white, standing out like a sore thumb and stole your husband for a dance bcs and I quoted “Yeah. Knowing Solomon, he probably wanted to pick the brain of the demon that got to marry the great MC”. Like the moment you date one of the brothers was something already lol, imagine you give him that wedding letter and his eye twitched, and he’s like “ahaha that’s my apprentice, my eye just twitched because I’m so proud of you” “Oh look! It seems like I have an urgent business matter that requires me to travel the world, I will now take this hat and Barbatos. See you!” And months later he showed up looking like that

I also looove the image of him dancing with whoever MC's new husband is. Like that demon is concerned but they can't exactly refuse, that's their new spouse's teacher.
And if that husband is Lucifer... oh the tension ;alkdfjdkfjf. I can just see those two glaring daggers at each other and speaking super formally and politely while they dance so it seems like they're just having a chat but it's actually straight insults in fancy words.
CCcccc what do you think about the absence of a halo above Diavolo almost certainly confirming Barbatos is a fallen angel

I did notice this yes yes but I am hesitant to say it means anything agshdjd. Partly because Solmare is known for doing stuff just because and having no real rhyme or reason. However I do feel that it’s possible this company they’re collabing with pays more attention to details such as these. So it could be a deliberate choice.
Personally I don’t want them to mess around with what we know about Barbatos too much. But I kinda think it depends on how much of the prior lore they’ll be using. For instance, if they’re taking in the Nightbringer story as part of this and Barbatos is indeed Nightbringer, it could be related to that. Nightbringer being the beginning of all demons maybe makes him powerful enough to have a halo. Or they consider him angel adjacent, so it’s because of that. It could also be a fallen angel situation like becoming Nightbringer was what turned him into a demon. Etc etc I’m just brainstorming possibilities.
I do find it interesting that Barb’s halo looks different from the brothers’ though. At this point, the brothers have clearly become demons so their halos have become black. But Barb’s is like shattered and has some color to it. Why the difference? It could mean nothing lol. But it’s interesting to speculate about it.
Currently I just don’t have enough info to say for sure what it could mean. It’s possible that it means nothing, but it’s also possible that it indicates that Barbatos is something different from both Diavolo and the brothers in some way.
I’ve always kind of preferred Barbatos just being a demon from the very beginning but I’m not totally against him being a fallen angel if they make it interesting enough.

I think Asmo would immediately suggest polyamory. I have some lovely little visions of Asmo and Solomon making an MC sandwich, they'd be total menaces together a;sdkfj.
But if that was not an option, I also really enjoy the vision of them bickering about it while dancing.

Oh? Did you think that the fandom would exist for your entire life? It might actually, even if it’s just one person.
But fandoms always have surges of activity, which is usually fueled by new content. We had quite a stretch there where nothing was happening because of the unexpected end of nb. And I Do proved to be a bit too dull to really create a resurgence.
That being said, the fandom isn’t dead. People said the same thing about the OM fandom back when I was getting five asks a day and queueing like ten reblogs a day. So what is truly the measure of when a fandom has “died?”
This fandom has absolutely become quieter over the past year or so. But there are still people actively creating art and fics so I wouldn’t call it dead. And now we have Sinner’s Choice which has definitely stirred up some interest. You should see my blog stats there’s a huge spike in activity on the day SC was announced.
Fandoms are constantly moving up and down in terms of activity. We’ve just been in lull for a while. Depending on the success of SC, we may remain here indefinitely. But it might cause a new surge again. I guess we’ll see.
