Oooh you definitely should think about watching it whenever you have the time! It’s a very fun (but also heart wrenching) movie and I did cry a couple of times haha. But yeah I love the music from it!

I saw a post of yours and it seemed thoughtful and like you'd take the question I have seriously, so here goes. I'm a Reylo, and up until this point have been rather in the dark of criticisms of the ship. I mostly keep to myself and read fics, meta analysis etc. I was surprised to see Reylos be labeled as racist. Is this a charge leveled at Reylos because Finnrey didn't end up happening? I'm curious if there's something you can tell me that maybe I missed. It *seems* like sourgrapes, initially.

I’m intrigued by the fact that you genuinely think people are labeling r//yl//os as racist because they’re annoyed their ship isn’t happening, and not because of the fact that r//yl//os have consistently proven themselves to be racist time and time again.

Some pertinent examples under the cut (STRONG trigger warning for racist slurs, multiple instances of anti-blackness and repeated use of the n-word):

And these just happen to be the more blatant examples. I could, of course, go on providing more examples. This post gives a good summary of both the overt and the more subtle ways in which the fandom, in general, is racist.

So no, accusations of racism aren’t because of “sourgrapes” over some ship war. They’re rather well-founded, and it’d be helpful if people would stop trivializing this stuff as something that’s motivated by some sort of bitterness over a ship when the truth is that it’s actually much more serious than that.

You know what? I really really really needed this right now. I’m so sad over these 2 stupid, little things that it’s kinda clouding me. But this message really made me grin and warmed my heart.

Yes, I am taking antidepressants and going to therapy. And I try, I really try to be better. I make sure to be more objective and reason things out with myself. It’s better than sulking, yeah?

I can’t be super duper reassuring about your worry for me, thoughts constantly come in and go out of my mind. But what I can assure you is that I will DO my best to keep safe and sound. I promise.

what's the point of wanting to play a game if you don't wanna know about the world or the other games or story or anything, just the character creator...

Not that I feel I must explain myself to you anon, but I feel my point was either misread or misinterpreted

I DO WANT to know about the game in general! That’s what I’m asking people to tell me about!! I want to know if me buying it is worth it considering games these days are EXTORTIONATE. The thing that caught my attention was the insane graphics and cool looking custom created characters (because you know, I’m a character designer😅) so now I wanna know if that’s the only thing that’ll appeal to me or not

I wish to know if I’m able to play the 3rd game without having played the previous ones or if I should do that first, not that I don’t want to at all (don’t know where you got that from anyway)

Final point: people are allowed to want to play games for whatever reason suits them. Graphics and character design are what interest me, and if it has an interesting narrative and world (in my opinion, not any one else’s) after being TOLD what that might be, then I’ll look into playing it because I think it looks cool

Awww, nonny!! Thank you so much! Ahh my darling self insert haha, my fave <33 I have a lot about her and stuff planned, so these might need context?

I full on bloody rambled and some aren’t even facts about her but now i’m legit considering writing out the entirety of her story and everything because theres a lot and I want you guys to know about her :3

sam and her (when they first got together and after they got back together after their break up) agreed that they were more than happy to stay together as bf and gf because neither of them wanted marriage or children (but that changed a few years later when sam had to leave and cassie was born)

she is the daughter of a well known treasure hunter and historian, but her father died in a car crash that she was also in and she feared she was the cause of it, so she ran away out a guilt and thats when she joined the treasure hunting profession

when she was 19 (the year of the car crash) she ran away, and ended up finding herself in panama where she got into trouble and was arrested for theft and man slaughter. thats how she met sam because she was thrown in with the guys and when she was 21 (2 years into her sentence) she bumped into sam, becoming friends

when she was bailed out of prison by her dads best friend and work partner (who later became her mentor), she was taken back to the uk to be trained by lara (hehe yes lara is part of the same universe). they had a fling while she trained her for the business but she soon left when she was angry at herself. she made up with her and they’re still super close friends now

after the events of drakes fortune, she met elena for an interview about her jobs and adventures, and from there on they were best friends; constantly meeting up with one another (they talked about all the adventures elena had with nate, but jess didn’t meet nate until a few years before their second wedding - he didn’t remember her after that tho so when she works with the drakes during uc4, hes a little confused haha)

the sudden split between sam and jess in panama left both sad by the fact they couldn’t say goodbye and so come uc4, neither of them remember each others faces and don’t realise its the other if that makes sense? they don’t get along when they bump into each other so they dont start off great for the second time haha

she has many scars and tattoos across her body (some of her tattoos are to do with her fave adventures and some are for sam :3) she was stabbed on a job with sam, causing her to almost die and it started off a whole chain of problems for the both of them later on in life

she has a cat called bailey who she loves so much, and later on she and sam adopt a border collie called winnie! both are like children to them haha

shes lost count of how many times either her or sam have gotten into trouble and the other has to save them, but they always come out with new stories to tell and new scars to show off lmao

years later when everyone is older and beginning to settle down, they have weekly/sometimes monthly meet ups as the whole gang, where they drink and chill and just enjoy each others company on the beach at nate and elena’s house. before cassie and hayden and natalie (jess and sams 2 kids) are born, they used to get drunk and play poker together, but it became more laid back when the kids were born :3 y’all wanna know the squad? its basically an AU ngl but: jess, sam, nate, elena, sully, chloe, nadine (they get married), charlie, rafe and harry + cassie, hayden and natalie (goes by natty) and rob (jess’s mentor) who also knows sully
