[ bruna marquezine. cis woman. she/her. muse 33. ] Welcome back to Montclair University, Nina Larissa Almeida ! According to your student file you're a TWENTY-FOUR year old JUNIOR, studying BIOLOGY (PRE-MED), and funny enough you were voted best listener your senior year of high school back home in SCARSDALE, NEW YORK. I can totally see it with your benevolent, questioning and presumptuous personality ! But enough about that —
I heard you were Lizzie Harrington's SORORITY BIG SISTER. Makes sense when you take into consideration your status as a legacy student… and the fact that you're hiding [redacted] . You're often seen at The Ivy Conservatory, and you kind of embody too much coffee and too little sleep , being bribed by your own parents to keep quiet , an easy smile hiding the weight of the world behind it … not to mention people always seem to hum Escapism by Raye when you're around, but you'll always be known on campus as THE MIDNIGHT LILY who enjoys gardening and has 3.7 million instagram followers… good luck this semester !

BIOGRAPHY.
The medical and pharmaceutical empire Quercelyn began in the 1990s, thanks to what many initially deemed a risky business investment made by Nina’s father, Bruno, and his twin brother. Their goal was to compete with the major players in the pharmaceutical industry by providing clean, botanical medical solutions. This approach proved successful, and Quercelyn has since grown into one of the top ten pharmaceutical companies in the world. As a result, Nina and her cousins are now potential rightful heirs to the wealth and acclaim associated with the Almeida name. Nina grew up in Scarsdale, New York, primarily raised by the family’s staff, which included her nanny and butler. While her father traveled around the globe for weeks at a time, her mother, Valentina, a former supermodel, was preoccupied with her role as a socialite, attending numerous foundations and galas. Nevertheless, her parents ensured that she was cared for by well-rounded individuals and kept her busy with a packed schedule from sunrise to sunset. This included language tutors, ballet and French horn lessons, equestrian training, and cotillion classes. As a result, Nina developed a strong sense of independence and open-mindedness, learning to appreciate the beauty and diversity the world has to offer. Incredibly kind-hearted, compassionate, and considerate, she recognized that her privileged upbringing was not the norm. She actively challenged herself not to let her advantages limit her ability to connect with new ideas and people. The Almeidas created the ideal All-American-Brazilian girl in their daughter, Nina. She was paraded around like a totem, symbolizing her parents' aspirations and the possibilities they could offer to their social network. By the time she graduated high school as valedictorian, Nina felt uncertain about her future, despite her father's pressure for her to attend his alma mater. Encouraged by her ballet teacher to pursue professional dance, she auditioned for the New York City Ballet at eighteen. She quickly rose through the ranks and made history by becoming the youngest principal dancer in the company's history at the age of twenty-one. However, a career-ending injury during practice forced Nina back to the drawing board, leading her to finally decide to attend college. Montclair was full of charm and opportunities, making it an easy choice for her to enroll with the goal of one day becoming the CMO of her family’s business. While she started by majoring in biology with a focus on pre-med, the true gift of her time there was the diverse array of friends she made, each with unique experiences. The memories she collected—through service hours, bonding with sorority sisters, and late-night conversations over cheap beer and pizza—will forever be etched in her mind and heart. With her senior year approaching and medical school on the horizon, Nina feels optimistic about her future for the first time in a while.
CONNECTION TO LIZZIE.
Kappa Kappa Theta! Who doesn’t love a good sorority row moment? Nina had the privilege of being Lizzie’s sorority big sister, helping them navigate through the world that was their house. The two bonded quickly and it was easy to get along with the younger Harrington compared to their older sister. They connected, spoke openly with one another, and inevitably built truth after Lizzie came across some harping news that could greatly impact Nina’s world altogether. To say she isn’t shocked about the loss of Lizzie would be an understatement. Despite how voracious and pompous the Harrington could be, they had a heart and potential to shake up the world for the better. It’s a true tragedy.
