Ever since everything went down with Joplin and Bickerstaff, Lucy has grown impossibly more and more fond of Lockwood and George. But when those feelings become something more than friendship, someone from her past comes back to haunt Lucy, and she panics. Logically, Lucy knows that Lockwood and George wouldn't kick her to the curb or anything, but the fear lingers.

In an odd turn of events, Lucy gets advice from the most unlikely places as she grapples with her feelings. She knows she has to tell Lockwood and George eventually; she just needs time to sort the feelings out for herself.
