During hir recovery, Jinana learned what is essentially a form of dissociation, in order to quickly remove hirself from an emotion or memory that was strong enough to cause an ‘episode’. Unfortunately, s/he will sometimes still use this tactic when confronted with emotions or situations s/he does not want to (or is not equipped to) deal with.

Lychee: What’s their favourite scent?

Jinana’s favorite scent is that of lilacs, but these do not grow well in the warmer climes of Venterre. Sometimes, in their travels, Heron or Asra will manage to procure a tiny supply of lilac enfleurage for hir, which s/he uses to create scented skin balm and hair pomade for hirself.

But gardenias do grow well in Venterre, and when they are in bloom, Jinana will preserve their scent through the same process, re-taught to hir by Heron (along with how to make skin care items and cosmetics).

14.  Where is their least favorite place in Vesuvia? Why?

It would be easy to say The Lazaret, for obvious reasons, but in practice it’s probably the Flooded District. It’s a perfect symbol of everything that’s been wrong with Vesuvia for far too long - crumbling foundations, lack of effective leadership, and lack of care for the citizens.

21. What is their first reaction seeing their LI cry?

To dash to their side, scoop them up in hir arms, and comfort them. (Maybe to ask something like, “Does someone out there need an Eldritch Blast, or just a centipede in their bed?” if it will make them laugh.)

🎁 - What kind of gift-giver are they? Do they give thoughtful gifts? Expensive gifts? Practical gifts?

Jinana likes to give gifts that the recipient will get a lot of use and/or joy from. S/he especially likes being able to find something that the recipient has been wanting for a long time, or being able to replace something that was lost. Hir gifts are not expensive (s/he doesn’t have much disposable income), but they are meaningful, and when they are practical they will tend to also be pretty.
