A bunch of beetles
The first 5 are some sort of grapevine beetle
The next 3 i think was a female firefly
The last 2 are beetles i found on my plants
All very beautiful! But especially the spotted cucumber beetle in the last photo. Such a nice sunny yellow :)
Cricket season... plus a large baby I found under a rock
Field crickets have such a nice round lil head that would be perfect for smooching. But alas.......they don't like it when you smooch them. And wow that is a big child! Hope they successfully make it through the winter and pupate into a lovely moth :)
The tiniest little rose sawfly larvae... theres so many on our roses its actually insane
My friends and i got to see them eat when i held a party
they were adorable 🥺

Held a very polite bald faced hornet the other day
I dont know why it was on the floor and not bothered by me holding it, but it was an interesting experience
Could've been cold or exhausted, though they're generally not aggressive unless they're near their nest. Very cute either way!
Some little isopod friends!
I spent some time in the summer finding ones
They were very cute and i managed to get photos of their little faces and all
I think that one with the yellow *might* have been one with eggs but idk
What a wonderful collection of pals! And yes the pic of the one from the underside shows her eggs. Eventually they'll hatch in there and then she'll give birth :) although I'm sure since these were taken in summer that already happened! Hope all her babies are doing well
On the same day as finding the wasp, i also found this yellow striped armyworm :3
He was on the track, so i picked em up and dropped him off in some grass so he didnt get stomped on
Beautiful child! Very small, very squishy. Glad they were safely deposited into the grass :)
