"What are you doing here?" Remembering Percy was not exactly someone for hugs, Scanlan just gave him a pat on the back. "And yeah, I know - I am almost the same height as you now. Pretty cool, right?"

"this doesn't really seem like your sort of thing." it wasn't like inej knew the person particularly well, but considering their first interaction included her turning into a gorilla and wanting to beat people up inej was surprised to see nimona at such a formal event. "have you found anything interesting to do here? hopefully nothing kaz asked you to do." she tacked on, eyes narrowing slightly. she didn't actually know what their conversation had included, but she was good at her job. even here, without any particular work to do, she kept eyes and ears open, and had been surprised to see the semi familiar face speaking casually with kaz.

Calliope sighed once seeing the crowded vendor stall and shake her head. "I'm not sure if I have the patience to wait for this to get less crowded" she mused to someone next to her. "Would you like to go to the ice bar with me? You look like you're here alone as well, if you don't mind my company, of course".

“we’ve met before, i believe,” luke greeted as he saw the young woman, a small smile on his face as he did. as far as he could remember from the brief conversation that they’d had, she was someone who had also learned from him in the future, but as far as the connection to their family outside of that, he wasn’t entirely sure about that. “i apologize we didn’t get to speak then, things always seem to be pretty hectic around these parts, not that it’s surprising given the nature of the family. but it was tenel, right?” / @mischiefmuses​

“is that important?” the answer is not long at all, however, mun yeong doesn’t understand why the specifics were important. she isn’t bothering the other, after all... at least, not that she is aware of. “unfortunately for you, i didn’t think to check the time before i decided to do so. but it hasn’t been an eternity, i assure you. five minutes, at most.”
