--mischievous.
@gryalec
The hallway radiates with a cacophonous mixture of footfalls and mindless chatter of students and teachers alike. He sits on a stone bench, his bag rests beside him, as he watches familiar faces past in a flurry of movement as they shuffle from one class to the next. The day is winding down and the setting sun bathes the hallway in a haze of warm orange light. Although its cold, Jimin wishes he were outside inside of the stuffy castle with an idea in mind and a point to prove. Honestly he doesn’t mind a bit of mischief from time to time. In fact he usually encourages it, finds it brightens the mood, and makes for a good laugh. But it’s those times where the dares become a bit more stupid and dumb, the ones that will surely land him in detention for the next year that he questions his sanity.
It’s a matter of pride, the sole reason driving his choices and actions at this point. The bag next to him appears to be normal. It looks the same size as any school bag would and any strangers passing by would assume that its filled to the brim with books, parchment, and a few quills. But looks are generally deceiving. There are two more classes set to let out at the same time and although the hallway boasts some activity currently, he knows the exact time that it’ll be filled to the brim with students. I dare you to... it plays over in his head and he glances at the bag to his side yet another time playing over his options. 1. I chicken out and don’t do it. I won’t get in trouble but I’ll be the laughing stock of my house. 2. Do it, miraculously don’t get caught. Win nothing but a little bit of respect from a few housemates. 3. Do it, get caught, spend the next year in detention, still somehow become a laughing stock.
Pulling out a rather beat up looking pocketwatch, Jimin glances at the time and sighs again mulling over his options.
