Molly and Burrich's dynamic is so father-daughter coded to me and it's uncomfortable
#miserable relationship#all we see of their relationship is disfunction#just screaming matches and no communication#swift runs away#nettle gets so desperate she goes to a dream man for help#burrich seems so condescending and possessive and controlling at the same time#imo molly was basically groomed#she was extremely vulnerable and burrich lowk took advantage of that#she had no control over the parenting over their own kids resulting in swift's abuse and running away#fitz was a bad partner but burrich?#i would argue it's textually a sad ending for molly bc of that “prophecy” that she would marry a drunk#not to infantilize her but it makes me so sad for her#rote#roteslop#realm of the elderlings#rote spoilers
