I know this sounds weird, but the post you made about your friend's kid is just like my childhood! My mum is American and my dad is British, I was born in England, and we moved to Georgia when I was 5. My accent is so weird and I usually sound American, but my parents use Brit slang all the time and people freak that I call my mother "mum". Sorry if this seems so irrelevant, but that post reminds me so much of myself I had to mention it! Thanks x
