i'm currently reading we children of bahnhof zoo and it's such a fast, fascinating read + pride & prejudice + the goldfinch... would rec all of them. don't really have a favourite book.
my favourite quote is from richard sikens detail of the woods "everybody needs a place, it shouldn't be inside of someone else. i kept my mind on the moon; cold moon, long nights moon." and from the goldfinch "I had the epiphany that laughter was light and light was laughter and that this was the secret of the universe."
