and the worst is when the same girls (even the disgusting men) tell you that you’re being “uptight” and “bitchy” when you state how uncomfortable you are being treated like that :/
It’s actually awful because you are still in a professional work environment and it makes it more difficult to call people directly on that: you have to maintain a working relationship with the individual because they will be returning, and technically all they did was “give you a compliment:” we still are in a society where to be uncomfortable with that isn’t okay. “Take it as a compliment, it’s harmless.” How about no??? That kind of behaviour shouldn’t even be acceptable in the first place.
