with the way my quirk works, i need to either have access to some loose blood or be fighting someone with mammal blood. I doubt they'd let me go into the entrance exam covered in blood and robots don't have mammal blood 🤷 plus my body is a bit messed up for hero work so i went into the support course since I already had experience with support gear

I also think my aunt would freak if i went into hero work

Dad named Gabriel Mendez (died at 37, would've been 47 if living), mom named Kei Shimoji (46), older sister named Ana (short for Anastasia, 26), younger sister named Fantasma (also went by Tazzy for short, died as an infant, would've been 10 if living)

Long line of support industry workers on Gabriel's side, he originally wanted to be a hero but went into support work anyways, he also taught in the support course at UA from age 34-37

Gabriel died in a car crash, Misia needed her leg amputated and almost died, but Gabriel used blood manipulation to keep her alive until help could arrive

Kei had Fantasma shortly after Gabriel's death (like so soon after Misia was still in the hospital), resulted in a LOT of issues that culminated until it got bad enough Kei unintentionally killed Fantasma

Misia lived with her aunt up until she got accepted into UA's support course. Musufatu was too long of a commute from her aunt's home, but Ana had lived in the area since 19. As such, Ana offered for Misia to move in with her

Misia and Ana had been low contact since Ana moved - Misia ultimately didn't want her to, especially since she was an extremely traumatized child, but Ana was tired of being a stand-in mom. Since then, most of their conversations had been awkward and short

Despite the tension, Misia moved in with Ana, as she wanted to follow her father's legacy and honor him. The tension is still quite high in their household
