3: Is there anything challenging about writing your muse?
((Writting Teddie is a challenge due to his extremly irrational, impulsive and childish personality. I am trying to give him traits he lacks in Canon due to the added age, like wisdom through experience, a certain level of restraint and an ability to take responsibility and act serious when the situation demands it, but sometimes, it's hard to balance it. I have trouble knowing how far I can take his more annoying character traits without making him seem like a jerk, but I can't just ignore those traits, since they are integral parts of his personality which I doubt would just fade with age. I prefer certain traits of the character above others; his dedication to helping others, his existencial issues, his loyality and childlike sincerety, but I can't just ignore other traits of him because I don't like them as much. A character is only a fragment of what makes a real person to beginn with; reducing them down even further would be a curcial mistake. Rather, a roleplayer should always try to add to them. That's my opinion.
6: Do you have any roleplaying pet peeves?
It kinda drives me off the edge when a roleplayer refuses to take chances with their characters and keeps them overly passive, which hinders the plots of threads to develope further into new, interesting direction. In an RP, only the characters controlled by the players can be active to begin with, so if one of them is overly passive, even when the situation doesn't call for it,nthe other one's player automatically ends up taking full control of the events, even when they don't mean to do so. The dynamic RP changes into a half-hearted poor-man's fanfic that way and is far, far less interesting to pursue. It always makes me sad when this happens just because RPers are too shy to actually make their character do things.
7: What is your preferred roleplaying style and why? (semi para/para/mirror etc)
I actually had to look these terms up because I didn't know them. X'D
I'd say my style is Multi-Para, though it varies by thread and depending on who I RP with or what. For dramatic RPs, I will write in a novel-style, with much description and introspective, much how I write my Fanfics. For more lighthearted RPs or crack, I use One Liner-Dialouge-One Liner most of the time.
I generally adjust to the situation.))
