Misopedia is a form of bigotry like any other. Children are an oppressed class, the most vulnerable and abused, and disliking them should not be acceptable. Adults of all genders mentally and physically abuse kids constantly. If you don't like kids, keep it to yourself and change and grow as a person.
All of the problems in the world are caused by adults. Children are directly shaped by the adults around them, and even the few children who do commit the most heinous acts are incomparable to adults doing heinous things far more often despite having fully developed minds. And if you hate kids because of people trying to push you to have them, guess what, it's adults trying to pressure you, so it makes more sense to hate other adults instead.
"But children are loud/messy/gross/overstimulating/etc" And? Is that really worse than all the horrific things adults do? And so are dogs, yet if someone doesn't like dogs, people hate them and say they have no empathy and deserve to die. This extends to people thinking hitting your kids is perfectly fine, yet if someone is recorded hitting their dogs, people call for them to be hunted down and imprisoned. Why not the same for kids?
Children are valued less than animals in this world, but hardly anyone wants to speak up for them, and I am tired of it.
