Miss Baker exhibit and memorial - the first US animal to fly and space and return alive on May 28, 1959 on a Jupiter rocket on a ballistic trajectory. Miss Baker went on to become the oldest living squirrel monkey, and was buried on the grounds at the US Space & Rocket center, where visitors frequently adorn her grave with bananas.
