I drew these a while ago and wanted to wait till after I finished that big drawing I'm working on before uploading these but I got impatient with myself : p
So back when I was a teen and fantasized about being an animator I came up with my character Elmer Paws and his friends as my mascots, and as I got older and my animator dream died I just kinda stopped drawing these characters...they weren't dead to me or anything, I just lost my spark for drawing them.
Well I decided I felt sad leaving these characters to just gather dust on the shelf in my mind so I decided I'm gonna start drawing them again, especially since my art's improved so much since the last time I've drawn them. I also gave them slightly new color palettes (not anything huge, just slightly different shades of their former canon color palettes) and added some details to canon designs like clothes or hair etc.
This is Elmer's mad scientist brother Abnor Mal Paws (yes, his first and middle name put together is "abnormal") and his beloved cat Miss Einstein. The two live alone in a creepy Gothic castle on a hill, and inside the castle is a massive laboratory where Abnor spends most of his time. While Abnor isn't an evil scientist, his madness can occasionally result in disaster, but he has his brother's quick thinking as well as a supergenius intellect so he always figures out how to fix what he's caused. As you'd expect from a mad scientist living alone, Abnor is VERY eccentric and has poor social skills, most people are understandably creeped out by him and keep their distance. Abnor prefers being isolated with his cat, but he makes an exception for his family and friends. To them, he's still a crazy weirdo, but he's also the fun, eccentric relative. Abnor is very high-strung and excitable when with others, but when he's working in his lab he's an extremely focused perfectionist, but he can also become very obsessive over his work and sometimes go days without sleep. He's also a very loving owner to his cat Miss Einstein who he found outside his castle one day as a stray kitten, and she in return loves him dearly. She even allows herself to be a guinea pig for his experiments, even though there's a high chance she'll end up regretting it.
Unbeknownst to Abnor, his castle is haunted by three mischievous ghosts. Miss Einstein always notices them and tries to get her owner to see them, but they always disappear when he looks. Miss Einstein constantly has to stop the ghosts from causing trouble all the while trying to get Abnor to see them, but at the end of the day she always finds a way to defeat them (unfortunately Abnor still never notices them). As of writing this I still haven't drawn the ghosts yet but I'll get to it after I finish my current project.
Also, Miss Einstein doesn't speak since she's a pet.
