Halloween isn't a Halloween without the spooks! So I drew a very old OC of mine! Miss Nightmare is an evil spirit that lives in the mirror realm and hunts for the people's eyes

The last day goes to the heroine of my old creepypasta of sorts, for Halloween is coming and all.

Sooo, some trigger warnings for you: mild gore, eye contact(sort of?), evil spirits, mirrors. You can always ask me to put any warnings you think are necessary!

Meet Miss Nightmare.

Was an ordinary girl until one moment. When she was human, her name was May.

May was the soul of the company, the sunshine, the main party girl, and just plain cutie.

She dreamed of becoming a model or an actress, so she always made sure she looked her best. Well, and was pride of her beauty.

One day, her friends told her about a Halloween party and suggested she go. Of course she said yes.

In honor of such an informal event, she dressed up in all black. She wasn't aiming for a creepy look, but she wanted to create something remotely reminiscent of Gothic style. Because it was beautiful.

After the party, at which she may have had a little too much punch, she headed home. While she waited for the train, May got a little closer to the edge of the platform, as she usually did, and concentrated on her phone, texting with friends.

As the train began to approach, behind the girl a campaign of similarly tipsy people walked by. They got into a frivolous argument and one man pushed the other. That other fell right on May, who couldn't keep her balance, pushing the unfortunate girl right under the train.

The company, the people on the platform, the driver - all were horrified by what had happened.

The girl had been so shattered that her eyeballs burst from the deformity of her skull. Bones broke, piercing her internal organs.

There was no chance to save her.

She was buried, but without her eyes her spirit couldn't find its way to the next world.

Miss Nightmare chooses a victim with a similar eye color. It is the entire spectrum of green.

She observes the victim from the mirror world for a long time. When it is near to the time to attack, she will show up on every possible reflective surface, either standing behind the person or replacing their face with her own. Of course, this all happens after sunset.

This way she puts the victim into a constant state of fear, from which insomnia and exhaustion emerge. On the day of the "harvest," people usually don't even try to fight it, thinking it's just a bad dream. A nightmare, if you will.

Having taken their eyes, the spirit tries them on by inserting them into her eye sockets. Since they are not her eyes, she gets rid of them by either crushing them or simply throwing them on the floor next to the victim. She then leaves the mark on the mirror and goes off into the mirror world in search of a new victim.

Avoiding her is possible. She can't appear in the real world from any reflective surface, it's the mirror she needs for that. She can intimidate, but without mirrors she is not dangerous.

It's not enough to just cover mirrors up at night; you have to throw them away, and far away from home.

Miss Nightmare can't go through walls, but she can destroy a door to pieces and lift objects weighing up to 500 kg. In other words, hiding from her isn't enough. Well, unless you're hiding in a metal bunker.

Also her weaknesses include ultraviolet lights, fluorescent lights, and fire. That will weaken her, but it won't kill her or drive her away.

The real sun can kill her, but let's be honest, she's not stupid enough to hang around the human world until dawn. And you're not strong or nimble enough to hold out until dawn.
