two silly little headcanons for my interpretation of kageyama:

big dumb with technology.     he texts exclusively in hiragana, which i try to simulate by texting only in lowercase and with bad spelling.  he still uses a flip phone and he  sucks  at even that.  

homoromantic.       i’d like to think that this literally never really came up until after high school.  he winds up “dating” a girl during the timeskip, who essentially just kept tagging along with him everywhere and he assumed that, since everyone called them girlfriend  +  boyfriend,  that  this  is just how relationships are formed.  after her initial infatuation faded,  the gal realized that tobio put  0  effort towards the relationship and that this obviously wasn’t a healthy set-up.  she questioned why he had no interest in anything beyond volleyball and broke up, for the best.  tobio knew that what she said wasn’t true  --  he loved volleyball but he also cared deeply about his team.     his all-male team.     his teammates that are all men.     that team.      with men.     (  it’s going to take him a long time to understand what this means.  )
