Who needs to work when you can gossip II Esme&Clary

It's already been a long day and Clary still had a few hours longer left at the Prophecy's head office. She let out a long yawn, scrunching up her nose as she did so whilst a hand ran through her tatted hair that had looked so beautifully presented at the beginning if the day but now looked like it were wild and needed taming. Oh the shame. It had started out a good day with a good morning kiss from Sam and breakfast in bed as he liked to surprise her with every now and again but as the day dragged on, she grew tired and irritable as she sat at her desk. She spun in her chair in boredom before she could hear the soft clicker of someone's heel echoing in the nearby distant. She couldn't remember Ben having an appointment this afternoon or rather, his assistant hadn't written anything down in the diary. Hmm. Glancing nervously down the hallway, her voice timidly called out. "-Hello? Who's there?"
