some of my favourite lady di fits 💞
how i’m trying to be
y2k inspired fit ❤️🔥
my gossip girl inspired look 💞
on the aussie youth trend of “dance pants”…
this author is almost ashamed to admit how much she loves this look for the teen girls.
not much about the disappearance of the tween phase can be praised, but their affinity for more “dressy” joggers and track pants is at least one positive.
though this author still holds the firm belief that there are little situations that can excuse an adult wearing this attire, the girls have been rocking it.
there’s something about the contrasting waist bands, utility pockets, and straight cut that scream stylish leisure (see: lorna jane flashdance pants)
their love of rolling down the waistband of their normal joggers to make them low-waisted is also something this author can admire.
it seems designers are admiring this too, with pants popping up made specifically with a thick waistband or having extra fabric folded over the top to mimic this (see: glassons fold over linen pants and COLLUSION fold over yoga pants)
coming from one who’s teen years were spent knotting her shirts and tucking them under her bra strap, there is a sentimentality that makes this trend one she can get behind.
