Miss Florida Orientation was a success!!! It was so great to see all the contestants again and Reece and I had such a fun time planning and throwing our “Out of This World” contestant’s party (thank you Susan and Larry Weaver and my mom so much for making it possible!!) We’re getting closer and closer to finding out who our next Miss Florida will be!! . A year ago today I sat here in complete shock after being crowned Miss Florida not knowing that my life would be completely changed forever but what an incredible year it has been. It has been such a blessing and honor to be your Miss Florida 2017 and serving this amazing state. I am more than grateful for everyone who has been a part of this journey and for the kindness and support you all have given me through this whirlwind of a year. As I give up my title in just a couple of short hours, all I can say right now is thank you from the bottom of my heart and I’m excited to share with you all that a few weeks ago I accepted an elementary music teaching position in Daytona Beach and I am thrilled to start this new chapter of my life!
