[Negligentle Family]
[A family of five suddenly becomes a family of struggling four. Three teens and a tot. And one missing rat, skittering away at night, becoming MIA.]
[The oldest, Raphael “Raa” (the reluctant leader by age alone) holding the family together with rules and schedule. Many sleepless nights checking the home is his habit. The Mad Dogz leader searches for answers, and he’s going to get them. Leonardo “ Lee”, second eldest, the clown of the group. Joking and messing around is his motif, but loves taking pictures of precious moments, stuck in a shell. Has a second sense for those smack talking him and his family it seems, maybe paranoia building. Leo and Raph may butt heads, but truly care for the other at the end of the day. Donatello “Dee Dee”, the third eldest, has eyes everywhere yet nowhere at once. His comforts keep him grounded, but his fears hold him back from attachments. Raph may be leader and oldest, but that’s no substitute for what he craves most. Michelangelo “Mikey”, the youngest by miles, loves wholeheartedly. Scared of the unknowns, the instability, each day bringing its problems he doesn’t understand, he would love to play with his big brothers and dad. His imagination is wide, but perhaps a bit of tot magic is sprinkled in. He waits like a good baby and better ninja, for a day to wake up surrounded by those he cherishes. For now, he will wait as he’s passed around one at a time while the others do what needs to be done.]
[The youngest terrifies, confuses, conflicts the oldest brothers. They have to find their dad, searching every single day is the norm. Being alone is the norm. They are a broken rollercoaster, but maybe they’ll learn. They are in this ride together.]
